Children in Darfur face atrocities of the worst kind: they have been, and continue to be, abducted, raped, tortured and murdered. Boys are recruited to become soldiers. Children who make it to camps are traumatized, and often do not have enough to eat or access to medical care. In today's webcast, Mia comments on the state of Darfur's children. Coming tomorrow: Mia talks to women refugees. Broadcast-quality footage of many of the videos on this website is available to members of the press. |
